History and Accomplishments

1974-5 Ross formed regional a Costume Collection of over 22,000 regional historic pieces, entitled the Byck’s Costume Collection .
1977 : Ross and partner Bob Stuecker designed and created the Jazz Age Beauties Costume Exhibit for the Museum of Science and History.
Stella Blum, Costume Collection Curator, Metropolitan Museum of Art attended the opening and commented it rivaled the Met’s exhibits.
1978 Ross/ Byck’s was awarded the National Retail Merchants Award for Excellence for the formation of the Byck’s Costume Collection and support of the new Museum.
1981 : Ross produced the Ralph Lauren Fall ’81 Collection to benefit the Museum of Science and History for their Gala Opening Night. The Gala was a sell out, and netted $150,000 for the Museum.
1983 : Fashion Fantastic, video, was produced by Ross and Stuecker for WHAS TV, and it included many New York Fashion Designers, as well as Issey Miyake.It won an International Film Festival Award, and was sold in 20 different markets.
2009 : Derby Decades: Simply Chic Ross and Stuecker designed and installed The Kentucky Derby Museum Costume Exhibit of 75 gala gowns from past Derbys including Bill Blass, Chanel, Christian Dior, and local fashionistas Tricia Barnstable Brown and Dottie Cherry.
2015-present: Wine Women and Shoes Ross has produced this runway show as a benefit for the Family Scholar House, netting $500,000 - $600,000 annually.
